Shahd Alshammari

This is the first poetry collection published by Shahd Alshammari, Ph.D. As the title says, her intimate collection deals with love and loss. Throughout the different, yet closely tied poems, these themes emerge through a sometimes abstract and lyrical mode of painting an experience, a moment. Each poem is a quick glimpse into a moment that has shaped the author’s perception of human relationships. Dr. Alshammari is an Assistant Professor of English literature.
