Piergiorgio Pulixi was born in 1982 in Cagliari, in southern Sardinia. For years, he worked as an independent bookseller before devoting himself entirely to writing. He has published several crime novels, winning numerous awards. The Black Cats Bookshop became a bestselling novel in Italy, France and Portugal. He is considered one of the leading figures of the new generation of Italian crime and thriller writers. His novels have been translated into some twenty languages. He was probably a cat in a previous life. A black one.
