Peter von Butovitsch

Peter von Butovitsch joined Ericsson in 1994 and currently serves as Principal Researcher in the Business Area Networks. He has held various positions in Ericsson Research, Radio Access Network (RAN) development and Standards and Technology. From 1999 to 2014, he worked for Ericsson in Japan and in China. Most recently, he has been involved in issues relating to Massive MIMO and multi-antenna technologies. He holds an MSc in engineering physics and a PhD in signal processing, both from KTH, Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. In 2016 he earned an MBA from University of Leicester, School of Business, in the United Kingdom.
