Kate Orman

Kate Orman lives in Sydney, Australia. She is best known for her many Doctor Who novels. Her short science fiction has been published in Analog and Interzone. As a child, Kate's ambition was to become a scientist and cure cancer. Sadly, this plan was derailed by a disastrous honours year in genetics. Kate worked in a library for many years, and was about to begin a degree in librarianship when her first Doctor Who book was accepted by Virgin Publishing. The TV show is also to blame for her meeting her husband and co-writer, Jonathan Blum. Kate is currently studying librarianship in earnest. Her ambition is to write a science fiction novel which has nothing to do with Doctor Who.
