Juneau Black

Juneau Black is the pen name of Jocelyn Cole and Sharon Nagel, two American authors who share a love of excellent bookshops, fine cheeses, and good murders -- in fictional form only. Both were booksellers for many years, and the pseudonym Juneau Black is a nod to Milwaukee and the bookstore where they spent so much time together. The Shady Hollow series, originally published independently in 2015, was later acquired by Penguin Random House/Vintage Crime, bringing the woodland village of Shady Hollow and its foxy reporter to a global readership.
