John English

John English's writing has appeared in more than two dozen books and a thousand how-to magazine articles. He was the editor of Woodworker's Journal, and has written for American Woodworker, Fine Woodworking, Woodshop News, Handy Magazine, Woodcraft and numerous other prestigious publications. John's most recent books include The Woodworker's Guide to Sharpening (Fox Chapel Publishing), Bench Planes & Scrapers (Linden Publishing), and Turning Wood With Carbide tools (also by Linden).
