Jennifer Kemmeter

Jennifer Kemmeter is the author and creator of the bestselling children’s STEM series Build It! and co-author with Antimo Marrone of the Play It! series. She is from upstate New York, where she developed her passions for chess, construction toys, and the arts. Jennifer was an economist and marketing professional, and even dabbled in the diamond trade, before moving into children’s books. Through books, she seeks to develop image-based tools to aid children in developing logical and creative approaches to independent problem solving. She now lives in London, England with her husband and two sons. When she’s not working on children’s books, Jen is usually in her garden, wrestling with green wall irrigation and trying to outwit the local fox population.
