J.D. Graves is an award winning film producer, author/playwright from East Texas. J.D.'s stage-work has appeared at the New York International Fringe Festival, Manhattan Rep Theatre, Hollins Playwright's Lab, and Austin's own FronteraFest, to name a few. His short fiction can be read in: Black Mask, Mystery Weekly, Mickey Finn Vol. 2, Tough, Rock and a Hard Place, Switchblade, Santa Cruz Weird, Pulp Modern: Tech Noir, and others. His cheap thrills shorts: The Sweetheart Sour, Just Another Job That Doesn't Pay Very Well, and Her Coffin's Colder Than The Mink Glove, are out now. He has served as the founder and Editor-in-Chief of neo-pulp rag EconoClash Review, an imprint of Down and Out Books. J.D.'s short film productions have received laurels from numerous film festivals across the country. J.D. currently lives deep in the woods with his wife and kids.
