Grant Lord

Grant Lord has been keeping and breeding Goldfish for over 45 years. Yes he is one of the grey haired baby boomer set born in the 1950s.He raised fancy varieties of Goldfish on a commercial Goldfish farm for ten years, concentrating on the more exotic varieties such as Moors, Water Bubble-Eyes and Celestials.When raising and selling any animal commercially, everything is on a larger scale. The experience he gained from this is shared in easy to follow instructions that enthusiasts can apply to their own setups, no matter how large or small.Grant still keeps and breeds Goldfish but purely on a hobby basis. The lessons he learnt breeding Goldfish commercially are still applied to his much smaller setup.Constantly discovering new facts about these fascinating creatures that were first kept by the Chinese over 1000 years ago is why Grant finds them so rewarding to keep.
