David A. Smith

David Smith has studied at the Universities of Hull, Iowa, Liverpool, and Chester, earning his PhD in 2013 with a thesis on General Sir William Howe. With a special interest in military history, he has been published on topics as diverse as the Revolutionary War, the American Civil War, the Anglo-Sikh Wars and the East African theater in the First World War. He also writes regularly on general history and sport for various magazines and websites.
