Three Wishes is book 3 in the warm, confidence‐building early reader series about rescue pets learning how to belong—in their family and in themselves.

Written especially for emerging readers, the series features short, accessible chapters and full‐color illustrations throughout, helping children build reading fluency while exploring themes of friendship, self‐confidence, and acceptance.

In Three Wishes, Moose, Bear, and their cat friend Tiger each wish they could change something about who they are. Across three gentle, humorous stories, the friends face everyday challenges—a new dog at a playdate, a missed connection with the mail carrier, and a game that gets a little out of hand.

As they reflect on their wishes, they begin to realize that being different is what makes each of them special.

Gentle and reassuring in tone, The Rescues will appeal to readers who enjoy classic early reader series like Henry and Mudge, with relatable moments, short chapters, and lovable animal characters.

The perfect conclusion to The Rescues series, Three Wishes celebrates self‐acceptance, empathy, and the joy of being exactly who you are.
