"For me, the creative process is both an escape from the stresses of life and a portal to another plane that exists beyond those stresses--a world that exists for its own sake, a world I can lose myself in. I am profoundly honored and humbled that others find in my verbal and visual art a place of escape and a place of inspiration for their own creative pursuits."
