Clover Creek Camp

Eight sisters. Two wagons. One promise that will carry them across a continent—and lead each of them to love.

After the deaths of their parents, the eight Whitaker sisters leave Independence, Missouri, determined to complete the journey their father planned for them. Their destination is Clover Creek, a small settlement in the Oregon Territory where they hope to claim land and build a new life together.

But the Oregon Trail of 1854 offers no easy passage. Between dangerous river crossings, violent storms, prairie fires, illness, dwindling supplies, and unexpected enemies, the sisters must rely upon one another—and the remarkable men who join their growing family along the way.

From an independent leader learning to share her burdens to a fiercely capable woman discovering that accepting help doesn’t make her weak, each sister will find a love as unforgettable as the treasured object tied to her story.

Filled with sisterly teasing, trail-side weddings, warm humor, close-knit community, faith, adventure, and deeply satisfying romance, Clover Creek Camp follows one extraordinary family on a six-month journey toward the place—and the people—they will finally call home.
