The Holiday Shorts

Saidah Harland has plans for Christmas: good food, good wine, and making sure the college boyfriend who broke her heart gets a good look at what he let get away more than a decade ago. She doesn’t plan on Jay ruining dinner and any chance at reconciliaton.

She also doesn’t plan on the other Hunter brother capturing her attention.

Will Hunter is used to standing in his older brother’s shadow. Jay is the charming one, the salesman, the man everyone remembers. Will is the one who stays behind to handle the details and clean up the messes. But when Christmas dinner goes spectacularly wrong, he gets something he wasn't expecting: a chance to get to know a beautiful, intriguing woman without his brother taking all the attention.

Neither expects one night to become a relationship, or for falling in love to bring everything they’ve spent years searching for. Saidah knows how quickly the people she loves can be taken from her. Will knows how easily loving someone can turn into carrying them. If they want the life taking shape between them, they’ll both have to decide whether they’re ready to stop letting the past dictate what comes next.

One unexpected Christmas brings Saidah and Will together. By the next, they may have found the love, family, and home neither knew they were missing.

UNEXPECTED is a steamy, emotional holiday romance about love after loss, complicated family ties, and choosing a future you never saw coming.
