The Access Code saga deals with topics such as child sexual abuse and its consequences in adulthood, the dangers faced by sex workers, the dangers of mishandled personal information on the Internet, the discovery of sexuality, the difficult task of facing little or no support in coming out of the closet within a family that sees homosexuality as an aberration, and how easily a life can be ruined. The first chapters of the first volume may be sensitive and even repulsive for some readers, as it is not a novel for everyone due to the themes it touches on. The Access Code saga consists of 4 volumes, is classified as romantic/erotic, but can also be classified as techno-thriller with strong scenes, contains a lot of noir fiction and even chapters where there will be some elements of protest or philosophical novel with a strong main character. It has also been classified within the LGBT genre because of this character. Matt, the main character, is a hacker tasked with collecting personal information. She doesn't care what she has to do or why she has to do it; she only cares about the payment she will receive upon completing the job. In the first volume, we will meet her new "target", who wants to fulfill the fantasy of being with a child. To do this, Matt must embody a sex worker who represents the object of his desire, which will lead her to unearth memories she has fought to bury, even hiding them from herself, slowly turning this target into a personal vendetta, fighting against ghosts from her past. According to physics, darkness is only the absence of light, and that is why the darkness within Matt is only the absence of love and forgiveness. She will soon be in a position to experience both things through Ana, her roommate, who will lead her to redefine many of the things she knew, to the point of redefining herself. In the first and second volumes, the focus is on their relationship, Matt's internal struggle, and her self-destructive tendencies due to her past traumas. In the third volume, everything becomes darker, exposing what conversion therapies are about, the abuses that are received in them, the little response from the authorities, and the sequels that such abuses can leave. The fourth volume talks about the loss of hope, faith, and goodwill, and how much it hurts when the light of a loved one is extinguished. As related content, there will be a short novel narrated by Ana's father, one of the characters who fights against their relationship, labeling it as "unnatural and repulsive", using his faith as a shield.
