The Cozy Purrch Cafe Mysteries

Alexis Belrose has spent years running from her past. Now she's hoping she can finally stop.

Tucked into the mountains of Colorado, Larkspur Valley is the kind of place where everyone knows your name, your coffee order, and probably what you had for dinner last Tuesday. It's exactly the sort of small town Alexis never thought she'd call home. But there's something about this place that won't let her leave, a pull she doesn't quite understand, and after a year of serving herbal lattes and finding forever homes for rescue cats, she's starting to think maybe she doesn't have to.

The Cozy Purrch is her sanctuary: dark wood and warm lighting, a stone fireplace, the hiss of the espresso machine, and cats lounging on every available surface. The café regulars don't know that Alexis is a witch in hiding. They don't know she can hear her cats talking (complaining, mostly, in Gus's case). They don't know that the chamomile latte she just handed them will ease the anxiety they didn't mention, or that she's been looking over her shoulder for years, waiting for the past to catch up.

When trouble finds its way to Larkspur Valley, Alexis discovers that her carefully constructed walls might be the very thing keeping her from the life she actually wants. With the help of four opinionated cats, a growing circle of friends she's terrified to trust, and magic she's afraid to use, she'll have to decide what she's willing to risk for justice, for connection, and for a place to finally call home.

Because the coven she left behind hasn't forgotten her. And Larkspur Valley has secrets of its own.
