About this ebook series

Isaac clasped his hands as if in prayer, staring fixedly at Emma. Lowering his voice to barely more than a whisper, carefully measuring every word, he spoke again, “Will you ask the Goddess to reveal their mates? With a little push, our boys could find their other half and think they did it on their own. I don’t want to force anything; I simply want to open the door. What do you say? Will you try?” He knew that Emma had a special relationship with Luperca. If anyone could successfully appeal to her for help, it was his mate.

Emma’s lips curved into one of her secret smiles. “Of course, I’ll perform the ritual to call Luperca to me,” she promised, “but I can’t guarantee the outcome. If she wills it, she’ll guide me with visions.” Emma touched her chest over her heart as though soothing a pain there. Her eyes glistened with unshed tears, but she continued, “I want our boys happy, and our home filled with the laughter of grandchildren as much as you do.”

Isaac spread his arms wide, inviting Emma to snuggle into his lap. The leather chair creaked softly as she adjusted her position and settled in the cradle of Isaac’s arms. The silk of her hair slipped between his fingers as he gathered it close. He buried his face in her hair, inhaling her unique scent. As he held her close, his thoughts turned to his sons. He knew that everything would change for them very soon. Isaac could hardly wait for each of them to meet their one true mate.

Welcome to New Orleans… where beyond the cemetery walls and ornate balconies, myths and legends walk among humanity. The creatures your grandmother warned you about sip hurricanes alongside tourists, their supernatural nature hidden behind charming smiles and southern hospitality. For the most part.

Take a good look at your neighbor…

The stranger sitting beside you at the bar…

The coworker down the hall.

Are you sure they’re human?

Are you?
