The Mag and Clara Balefire Mysteries

The Mag & Clara Balefire Mysteries is a cozy witch mystery series filled with snark, sister sleuths, and small-town secrets where magic is never subtle and murder is never convenient.

When sister witches Mag and Clara Balefire move to the sleepy town of Harmony, Maine, to take over leadership of the local coven, they expect challenges—but not a steady stream of murders. As the sisters settle into small-town life, they quickly discover that Harmony’s quaint charm hides more than a few dangerous secrets.

Each book follows Mag and Clara as they juggle murder investigations, coven politics, and the magical complications that come with centuries of experience. With sharp wit, deep loyalty, and a shared determination to protect both witches and townsfolk alike, the Balefire sisters uncover truths others would rather keep buried.

Blending classic cozy mystery elements with witchy magic, humor, and heart, the Mag & Clara Balefire Mysteries feature strong women, clever puzzles, and a recurring cast that includes an ancient, cantankerous coven leader who refuses to behave and magic that rarely stays under control. Despite rising stakes and personal consequences, the series remains firmly cozy, with no graphic violence or dark themes.

Perfect for readers who enjoy cozy witch mysteries with sarcasm, sisterhood, and small-town intrigue, the Mag & Clara Balefire Mysteries deliver lighthearted mysteries where justice matters, family comes first, and magic always has an opinion.
