The Maqlû

The Maqlû chronicles the adventures of Alex Scire, a teenager who is accidentally thrust into a dangerous quest to find and destroy a set of extraordinarily powerful magical objects. His perilous journey takes him across continents, into the afterworld, even through space and time. With pirates, ghosts, natural disasters, and terrifying monsters lurking around every corner, Alex must master the mysterious ankh he took from his now-dead father and win over the loyalties of two skeptical Druids if he’s to survive. But the biggest threat are the warlocks and witches who are bent on destroying him and using the objects for themselves.
