The Emily Swanson Series

Not every missing person is meant to be found...

When troubled nurse Alina vanishes without a trace, everyone assumes she ran away from her abusive husband. But when disgraced ex-teacher Emily Swanson moves into the couple’s former home, she discovers that Alina’s disappearance is anything but straightforward.

Desperate for a fresh start, Emily is determined to leave her own troubled past behind. But when she learns about the missing nurse, she sees a chance for redemption. Solving the mystery could help right her own wrongs.

But Alina had a dark secret—one connected to the hospice where she worked. And the closer Emily gets to uncovering the truth, the closer she gets to a danger far worse than she ever imagined…

Inspired by a shocking true crime, Next to Disappear is the first book in Malcolm Richards' twisty British psychological thriller series.
