I just moved into a cute house but didn’t count on my new neighbor being a dangerous felon. Things are so bad that I’m scared for my life. Thank goodness the sheriff shows up right in time to save me.

The more I get to know him, the harder I long for him. Derek’s everything I want in a man: hot, strong, driven, and kind. I know he wants me too, but something is holding him back from giving in to his feelings.

A police intervention is always risky, even in a small mountain town like Trout Creek. You never know who or what you will run into. When I arrive at the scene and lock eyes with the curvy beauty who made the emergency call, my whole world spins on its axis. From now on, protecting her is my main concern. There’s no way in hell I will ever let anyone threaten her safety again.

I know she’s meant to be mine, but will she still want me when she finds out about my troubled past?
