Steve Dabbs began his working career in the Navy and is a Vietnam veteran. He served on the USS Racine LST-1191.

He entered the financial services industry in 1978. He has been an Investment Advisor Representative since 2011. In 2018 he started "LTC Wealth Management, LLC," a Registered Investment Advisory firm. Dabbs founded the firm with a focus on Long-Term Care Financial Planning.

In 2003, he began helping veterans by educating them on the Veterans Pension with Aid and Attendance benefit program. Then, on June 30, 2011, he became a VA-accredited claims agent, accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

As a VA-accredited claims agent, Dabbs can legally represent a veteran before the Department of Veterans Affairs in preparing, presenting, and prosecuting VA claims.

On August 1, 2012, Dabbs became a Certified for Long-Term Care® - CLTC®

Then, in 2016, he became a Certified Medicaid Planner™, CMP™. To achieve certification, a CMP™ must meet specific education and experience requirements and show proficiency in Medicaid Planning or ALTCS Planning in Arizona.

The fact that Steve Dabbs is accredited by the VA and a CMP™ demonstrates that Dabbs has a solid working knowledge of how the VA Pension program works with Medicaid/ ALTCS and how they conflict with one another.

In 2018, he became an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, putting Dabbs above the pack. The Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) is an ethical certification issued by Fi360.

As a fiduciary, Steve Dabbs is required by law to put a client's best interest first.

Today he is a national mentor, trainer, and consultant on Medicaid/ALTCS planning and Veterans Pension with Aid and Attendance benefits, actively advising financial planners and attorneys throughout the United States.
