Read the combined book. Wasn't sure I liked it at first, but it grew on me as the story picked up later. It's imaginative. Some fantasy-adventure cliches (which was why I had a hard time with it at first, but then I'm a little nit-picky), but enough detail to make the story unique and intriguing. I was glued in the end. Great surprise ending.

While not the most amazing book out there. The Author did an amazing job with the plot and setting and you gain a love for the characters. only wish we got a little more content about Jarred and King Endons childhood. ultimately loved it and will get the next one in the future.

I've always loved the Deltora books back when I was in grade school and being able to find this at such a low price is amazing. The book is solid, great plot, great word placements, the whole nine yards. I highly reccommend this book to anyone looking for fantasies.
