From the start of the first one, I could not put them down. This one I could, But not the first two. I could almost see the writer's doing. The first two are incredible and then this. I will take my next shot at Thuvia, Maid of Mars. I however don't know what to expect. Great reading. Thanks to Google for providing these ebooks as such minimal cost to us.

A fitting end to the original trilogy that picks up directly from the cliffhanger at the end of "Gods". Even more new peoples and monsters are introduced as well as more insight into Mars' distant past. The story isn't as heavy on social commentary this time around and it feels a little more fun for it. Great action and adventure.

I never thought I would like a hundred year old sci fi series so much. As long as you forget that we now know there's no life on Mars its terrific!
