I like this series, but this is definitely a winner. It has a quiet edge to the relationship. Kray is the biker who made his MC his family. He lost his mother in his early twenties and now lives miles away from his brother, his only relative. Cleo is his brother's assistant and was brought up in foster system, but has a strong personality. He fell hard and fast after seeing a photograph. She is self sufficient, wary, independent, non reliant, distant with others yet very drawn to Kray.

3.5 stars. Kray certainly knew what he wanted and went after it. I wasnt sure about the way he went about it at the start but was pleased to see them connect and the way they were together. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

4.5/5⭐️ Distance doesn’t make a difference when it comes to true love and Kray proves that with his actions. He takes a bet on Cleo and his bet was so worth it. The thousands of miles was not a sacrifice at all, considering the Christmas gift he received by falling for her.
