Kiki's Tale

“Temporal Anomaly ” is life's running gag in Keyanna Nasmins life. Growing up the first 11 years of her life living with her parents on the pirate starship “The Twenty-Wun Stars” she realized her parents were not actually married. When she asked them why, they said, “...they didn't want to get married before they actually met. In fact she was born almost a decade before they would. This is actually pretty well detailed in the novella/short story, “Back To When They Belong”. That however is another story.

Kiki (Keyanna) is the 3rd ever only Rehuman Being in the galaxy and unlike her father and dottie-ma, is the first one ever to be “organic”. While the first two Rehuman Beings were sentient beings composed of inorganic, shapeshifting,matter manipulating nanites, her nanites were living, highly adaptable, ever evolving, organic nanites. 

When her and her parents returned to some normal semblance of their proper time, they gave up their life as space pirates and resumed their life as gravitational research scientist, well her parents did anyway. She was relegated to what they felt was the best ‘normal’  life for a not so normal little girl. This places her in the accompaniment of her 12 year old Auntie, Naya from the high gravity world of Torrey 9.

Naya was in mourning having just lost her mom in an unexplained gravitational research explosion. As it turns out the explosion was caused by a fugitive of the Deslar Civil War. Months later this god powered fugitive returned to Deslar, ran for president and won. When Naya finds out, she is livid. She wants blood for blood pirate justice for her mom, but what chance do they have to do that against a god powered head of state?

Over three thousand years after the final battle over the soul mankind, between God, Satan, and Nefarious, destroys the earth, a new chapter begins. The resulting hyperspace blast from the earth’s destruction flings the last of humanity into the furthest reaches of space on their surviving starships. Over a 300 years passes before these star cast seeds of mankind reclaim the stars, and begin to find each other. The first of the new worlds to find each other and reconnect old humanity on new worlds, would eventually form The Confederation of Republic Worlds. This union would be marked with the erection of the Jara Timekeeping Tower on Jara Prime, broadcasting a synced time throughout the known universe.

This is the Jara Era.
