Savage Little Saffron

Holika Dahan in Jaipur is a spectacle of roaring bonfires and crowds enthusiastically setting demon effigies alight. It’s the perfect backdrop for a clandestine meeting, provided you don’t mind the heat—or not knowing who your contact for the job is. Jane is being particularly close-lipped on this one.

The target is billionaire Arjun Rathore. To the world, he’s a philanthropist and cultural patron. Behind closed doors, he runs a darker operation that turns vulnerable girls into disposable entertainment for men who believe their money makes them untouchable.

The job should be straightforward. Walk into Rathore’s exclusive Holi celebration—an invitation-only spectacle of silk, champagne, and carefully curated excess. Reach Rathore, and end him before the night’s fires burn out.

But nothing about this job is simple, especially when my client has her own agenda—and I’m suddenly responsible for protecting the innocent. I’m not just watching the effigies burn. I’m here to ensure that when the sparks fly, the real demons are the ones turning to ash.

Savage Little Saffron is a razor-edged assassin thriller set against the riotous celebration of Holi—where secrets ignite, monsters meet the fire, and sometimes the only way to protect the innocent is to ensure the guilty never see the sunrise.
