About this ebook

The first book in the #1 New York Times bestselling Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot.

Mia Thermopolis is pretty sure there’s nothing worse than being a five-foot-nine, flat-chested freshman, who also happens to be flunking Algebra. Is she ever in for a surprise.

First Mom announces that she’s dating Mia’s Algebra teacher. Then Dad has to go and reveal that he is the crown prince of Genovia. And guess who still doesn’t have a date for the Cultural Diversity Dance?

The Princess Diaries is the first book in the beloved, bestselling series that inspired the feature film starring Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews.

  • Fish Out of Water: One minute Mia is a normal freshman navigating high school in New York City. The next, she learns she’s the heir to the throne of Genovia.
  • Hilarious Teenage Diary: Read along with Mia's private journal as she navigates crushes, flunking algebra, and the startling discovery that her dad is royalty.
  • High School Drama: Between her mom dating her algebra teacher and still not having a date for the dance, Mia's life is more complicated than ever—and that was before she found out she was a princess.

Such a great read. Different from the movie but still enchanting for young adults to read. Kinda like a Cinderella story.
