Emotional: I enjoyed this Christian romantic suspense story and thought the marriage-of-convenience angle was a novel idea. The author did a good job of tackling all of the complexities tied up with human trafficking without being too explicit. However it was quite a heavy and emotional book to read. I liked Liliana and Meric as a couple and seeing them both find healing and happiness together. However I would have liked to have seen greater spiritual growth and for faith to have featured more prominently. It was however an emotionally gripping read full of hope and healing. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are solely my own.
