About this ebook

There’s no room for love and war . . . and the sea is preparing for both.

To defeat pirates, they must become them.

After uncovering the truth behind the vampire pirate organization, the young gods and demigods make an uneasy alliance with the very vampires they once fought. Their mission: stop a dangerous smuggling operation before it ignites a global catastrophe.

But first, they have to survive Pirate Academy.

Under Delphine’s sharp eye and Hermes’s secret code, the trainees must master deception, infiltration, and the art of “cleaning” a ship without being caught. One mistake could mean exposure. Or worse.

As tensions rise, so do unexpected feelings.

Hermie can’t ignore the pull he feels toward Del—even when she insists there’s no room for romance on a warship. Gertie struggles with her loyalty to Hector while battling a dangerous attraction to Taavi. And when shocking secrets about Gertie’s own family surface, the mission becomes painfully personal.

Because on these waters, enemies can become allies . . .

And love can become the greatest liability of all.

In this thrilling second installment of Vampires and Gods, alliances are tested, hearts are torn, and the line between love and war grows thinner by the day.

I loved this second instalment full of action and of moving moments. It takes place just after book 1 so i really recommend to read those in order to fully enjoy the expeience. If you love YA book and even more love greek mythology this is the perfect series for you. In this story we focus more on Gertie, Hector and the vampires but the main group ( Hestie, Poros, Hermie etc) is there as well and center simply Gertie is having vision and we are learning more about as well....she did surprise me. There are also moving moments....ys you could need tissues but it's wonderfully written. Just to inform those who may not like it, there are allusion about MM relationship with secondary characters but it's only allusion so it's really fine nothing graphic or too much underspotlight.
