At this point reviews are only for Malazan fans, so here's my opinion. Yes, there's a wealth of typos. Past that, the book ties off quite a few story lines I had wondered what happened to in the book of the fallen. I really don't mind the darting perspective either, Erikson and Esslemont built the world well enough I feel comfortable assuming any role, even if just for a few paragraphs or sentences.

If you like the Malazan world you'll enjoy these books. I just love getting more the history from some of the peripheral characters from the Malazan Book of the Fallen series.

Love how it goes up so many loose ends and at the same time opens so many more doors. Great contribution to the legacy of this series.
