About this ebook

Love isn’t only blind—it’s dangerous.

My best friend is too self-absorbed to notice what’s happening in my life, and that’s how I like it. The less attention on me, the better. Especially now—when footsteps echo from empty rooms and the phone keeps ringing with no one on the other end.

I can’t shake the feeling of being watched any more than I can shake the possibility that I’m losing my mind.

Then there’s John Beller—green-eyed, charming, and too perfect for my own good. His confidence draws me in. His touch quiets the chaos. But as I fall deeper into his world, unease curls tighter in my gut. Is John protecting me? Or is he the danger I can’t see?

One thing is certain—my nightmares are real. And the greatest threat might already be in my arms.

A pulse-pounding romantic thriller where passion, paranoia, and betrayal collide—perfect for fans of Lisa Jackson, Melinda Leigh, and T.R. Ragan.

What a page turner. Though out of touch with reality because men like John, let's be honest, who have the money and lots of love to give are very scarce lol. Lee you're an incredible storyteller indeed. You laid the story and characters so well allowing the reader to go with the imagination. Anyway, I'm still looking for the one romantic thriller where the villian actually wins.

Mary is a 30-something widow getting back in the dating game after being set up with a blind date by her friends. She meets John Beller, a charming, wealthy man, who falls for her immediately. But Mary is hiding things. She constantly feels that she is being watched. Anonymous notes and gifts arrive on her doorstep. She hears noises from empty rooms and phone call after phone call, but no one is there when she answers. She's afraid that she's losing her mind. When another driver intentionally runs her off the road, she's left for dead at the bottom of a ravine. When she wakes, she's in the hospital, and winds up recovering in John's house. And in his house, it’s his rules. While police search for the driver who nearly killed her, one detective questions whether or not John is isolating Mary for her protection or using her insanity against her. She’s sure it’s the former, and John insists it is. John also has secrets .... he believes his wealth gives him the right to dig into all her secrets. Is Mary delusional? Losing her mind? Is John not the man she believes him to be? Does he have his own agenda? Or is there something more evil at play? This is a love story. This is a mystery. This is a psychological thriller. This is a well written, intensely suspenseful, emotional read. The characters are deftly drawn. There are many riveting twists and turns that lead to an unexpected conclusion. Many thanks to the author / BooksGoSocial / Netgalley for the digital copy of this Romantic Suspense / Psychological fiction. Read and reviewed voluntarily, opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.
