This book was so good I couldn't simply place it down or close it. I can't even stop at a chapter as I keep on reading. It was really good especially at the end. I hope to see more in the future :3

Although, it's in the YA category, I think kids of all ages will love stepping into the 1500's with Elizabeth, Nicholas, George, Fifer & John. I know I did and I'm 45 years young. I read this book in a couple of days, maybe 12 hours total. Once this book grabs you, on about page 3, it doesn't let you go. I don't want to give anything away, but, she writes with a vast knowledge of medieval history which makes you feel as if you are there. There is just enough of everything to keep everyone enchanted.

A graduate of the University of Texas, she had a decade-long career in technology before quitting to become a full-time writer.
