TAKEN which is an anticipated continuation in the Christine Lane mystery series, is as much about relationships as it is about policing and mystery solving. There is a lot of heartbreak in this book. While Christine tries to hold her life and those she loves close to her, some are destined to be pulled away. Like the crimes on the island, all is not as it seems.

About the author

Dianne Scott lives a short ferry ride from Toronto Island, which is the setting of her mystery novels. She is the award-winning author of the Christine Lane Mystery series. The first book, Final Look, was a Kobo Emerging Writers Award nominee and winner of the Crime Writers of Canada Arthur Ellis Award. The second book, Missing, was a Finalist for the CWC Excellence in Writing Award. Lost and Found and Sabotage are the third and fourth books in the series.
