About this ebook
Abby Choi was a Hong Kong model, socialite, influencer, and mother of four whose life came to a sudden and tragic end in February 2023. Her disappearance quickly became a major criminal investigation, drawing intense public attention as investigators uncovered evidence connected to a house in Tai Po.Known for her fashion career, social-media presence, and appearances at high-profile events, Choi had built a successful public life while maintaining connections with members of her former husband's family after their divorce. She had two children with her former husband, Alex Kwong, and later welcomed two more children after remarrying. When Choi disappeared, concern quickly turned into a large-scale search. Investigators eventually arrested several people connected to her former family, while evidence recovered during the investigation raised questions about the relationships, financial disagreements, and circumstances surrounding her final days.At the center of the case were Alex Kwong, his father Kwong Kau, and his brother Anthony Kwong, who were charged with murder. Jenny Li, Choi's former mother-in-law, was separately charged in connection with the alleged disposal of evidence. The case subsequently moved from a police investigation into a major courtroom proceeding.
