God of Malice (Legacy of Gods, Book 1 – Standard Edition) is not a “light” romance, but if you like dark, morally gray, high-intensity stories, this one delivers. The chemistry is immediate, the tension is constant, and the pacing is so fast it’s hard to put down. What really worked for me is that it’s not just shock value—the characters are layered and messy, and the story has a pull that keeps you turning pages even when you’re like, “I shouldn’t be rooting for this… but I am.” It’s dramatic, obsessive, and emotionally charged in that binge-read way. Definitely check trigger warnings because it goes to darker places, but if you’re into dark romance with a dangerous edge and a strong series setup, this is a solid 5-star start.
