About this ebook
The Bible isn't some cryptic code book it takes an expert to decipher. It's the story of God's sometimes tumultuous but always loving relationship with humankind, meant to be experienced firsthand by every believer. While the teachings of knowledgeable pastors and Bible teachers aid our understanding, they are never a replacement for our own personal study of God's Word.
With clarity and kindness, Jane Johnson equips you with the study tools you need to see for yourself what the Bible actually says. In Held, she shows you how to discover the context of three Old Testament books, understand the plain meaning of the text, explore unique or repeated words and cross-references, and more. Only once you've dug deeply into each passage does she offer additional insightful commentary to reveal even more truth and help you make it personal.
If you've wanted to make personal Bible study a part of your everyday life but weren't sure where to start, let Johnson equip you to go deeper than you ever thought you could go.
