Oh my I wasn't sure what was going to happen after that cliffhanger. Dante and Tatiana face some challenges after the accident. She is taken and then finds herself losing part of the past. Talk about confusion but what does that mean for her and Dante? On top of reliving once the memories come back. Oh my then we still have the search for the necklace and the betrayal she still feels. Can she and Dante move forwar? Emotions galore but Charmaine kept me engaged.

This is book two of Tatiana and Dante's story and the conclusion of their story. Be sure you've enjoyed Callous Desire before diving into this book. This duet of books told a tale that was truly captivating. I know my heart and feelings got put through the wringer as this tense and suspenseful rollercoaster ride unfolded. I really like Tatiana and my heart never stopped aching for her. My feelings for Dante though ended up being more complex.

Chokehold! That's what book two felt like! Ms. Pauls held me firmly in her grip! She didn't let go for one moment! Intense. Captivating. This had me all up in my feels! Heat? Arizona desert levels! You'll want to wrap Tatiana up and hold her close. You'll be wondering if Dante will be a hero or the morally grey villain! This rollercoaster ride left me exhilarated and oh so satisfied!
