Fierce Fighter

Fierce Fighter is the story of Stone Steel and Vanessa Maye, high school sweethearts whose lives were derailed when Stone's father died. He left town and never looked back. Vanessa, however, was pregnant and became a single mother. This was a fast read. As such, I never connected with the characters nor did this book engage my emotions. While it was not up to the author's usual standards, it was still worth reading. 3 1/2 stars

This is book nine in The Steel Series and it is Stone and Vanessa's story. Vanessa is a bridesmaid at Indigo's wedding and she is also trying hard to stay away from Stone as he is her weakness along with there son Rocky who she hasn't told Stone about as Stone hates lies so Vanessa knows that he will never forgive her but things don't always go as planned. Stone is a professional Wrestler and she to take part in the Olympics but he has never got over or forgotten Vanessa and he was still in love with her but she has kept him at arm's length but now he was determined to win her back but what he doesn't know is that Vanessa is keeping a big secret from him. What will Stone do when Vanessa tells him he has a son, will be be angry and reject them or embrace it all. Vanessa and Stone's connection and chemistry between them is just as strong as it used to be year's ago but will they get a second chance of a happy ending or will this be the end for them after all the secrets that Vanessa has kept from Stone. Omg I absolutely love this book and it was definitely worth waiting for. Victoria Pinder is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.
