Dark Valentine

Rhianna Lamb has just spent six months creating a new identity for herself to escape Werner Brigham, the man who stalked and assaulted her. When she arrives in the courtroom to take the witness stand against him, she is stunned to find herself staring at the woman she’s having a fling with—none other than Julia Valiant, Brigham's hotshot defense attorney. Jules is equally shocked. Brought into the Brigham trial at the eleventh hour, she had no idea the “Kate” she’s been seeing was also the plaintiff. For many reasons she has to win this case, but she also wants to win Rhianna. Her chances for that don't look good after she brutally cross-examines Rhianna and demolishes the prosecution's case. Werner Brigham is acquitted, and worse still, seems to think he can return to his old habits, this time with deadly intent.

A new game is in play, one Jules has to win. But even if she does, will Rhianna ever forgive her?
