Between Steel and Secrets

This is the continuation of Harper, Luca and Nova and Ashton story. Danger keeps coming especially after Harper and Zeke. Luca and Ashton have their work cut out for themselves while Liam gets closer to Bristol. I am enjoying the dynamics of the different relationships and how they fit together. The suspense was up in this book. Liam getting closer to the ill Bristol was a great side story. I really enjoy the layering and different relationships making up the plot. Very well written.

The author has pulled us further into the lives of Harper, Luca, Liam and Bristol. The heart pounding story keeps us turning the pages with secrets, betrayal, danger and revelations. The book ends with a cliff hanger that will lead into the next book. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the 5th book in the Crimson Ice series and we get to see a bit more of how Luca and Harper's life is going. Harper decides that as her and her son's life are in danger now, she should learn to defend them in case Luca is not around. This comes in handy at the end of the book but no spoilers! We also learn more about Liam and Bristol in this book and how their relationship is growing. I like the references to other series that Willow has written, with family members or enemies being mentioned. The book ends on a cliff-hanger and I can't wait to read book 6.
