About this ebook

From fourth grade onward, shy, nervous Bree Housley and fearless, outgoing Shelly were an inseparable, albeit unlikely, pair. Their friendship survived everything from the awkward years of junior high to the transformative upheavals of early adulthood—until, at the young age of 25, Shelly lost her life to complications caused by Preeclampsia.

We Hope You Like This Song is a tribute to the ineffable, incomparable bond that we call friendship, and a celebration of living life to the fullest. Housley recounts how she and her sister found a way to keep Shelly’s memory alive—by spending a year doing crazy things that Shelly would have done, like giving Valentines to strangers, singing at a karaoke bar, and letting her boyfriend pick out her outfits for a week. In the process, she paints a vivid, often hilarious, portrait of her fun-loving, social butterfly best friend and the many adventures they had growing up together in '80s and ’90s small-town America.

Sweet, poignant, and yet somehow laugh-out-loud funny, We Hope You Like This Song is a touching story of love, loss, and the honoring of a friendship after it’s gone.

The history for which you just foretold brought me to tears as I remembered the promises. These promises written on ink & paper don't mean if you ask to be saved from the wrath to come you will be saved but instead plant the word in your heart & confess it from your mouth! Building a relationship with God, believe & you shall recieve. When you are standing alone in prayer forgive as he has forgiven, depend on the Holy Spirit to help in prayer & pray the prayer of intercession ( 1 Timothy 2:1). Take the time to pray in the spirit building yourself up to interpret the word for prayer based on the word is prayer based on the Lord's Will! The word of God will seperate you from the death of this world & place you in the flow of his life. "Give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, & health to all their flesh" ( Proverbs 4: 20-22). The bible is the light in the darkness of the sin amongst men & women of earth. The word of God is filled with life unlike other books tell of religious leaders who are now dead. This book tells of a living Savior who rose from the dead & "always lives to make intercession for (YOU)". What a loving, patient, forgiving God, deserving of praise & worship while other books suggest ways to approach a God who is angry with us because of our sin. The Holy Bible makes the truth crystal clear while we were still sinners Christ died for us. The demonstration is this, the bible is written that through Jesus Christ you may know fully that you have eternal life just read (1 John 5:13). As a man who has faced drug addiction, imprisonment, & have walked in the dark I say this unto all of earth, children of God equal, other religious books are written to your head but the Holy Bible is written to your heart. Hallelujah! In the bible God comes to you as a father, he loves you, a true love only taught through Our Savior Jesus Christ! "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whomsoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). Cover to cover the Bible is good news, good news to those of understanding & wisdom obtained through the savior Jesus Christ. In this light do not fret for he is with you always so don't be distracted by the theories of men! In our world today, 2017, Satan is amongst us in the form of deadly sins. People who the youth look up to, rappers, rock stars, pop artists, they destroy the youth of the generation by becoming Satan's puppets condemning themselves as many portray what is the death of this world today, ALL SIN amongst men & women both! These puppets sing of wealth, lust, & bloat on with sin. In this generation following the lead of man would be an easy mistake to make so stay true to the ten commandments of God & live each day forever thankful for the truth, (John 17:17). Sadly, we all live surrounded by death but God's Word separates the true believer from the death of this world & places him in the flow of life from God! To sanctify is to separate, sanctifying begins when you are born again as Jesus Christ being Lord & savior having now the power to walk in God's way for you are saved, separated spiritually from the kingdom of darkness & born into the kingdom of light! The word of God shall be #1 amongst all despite what any man sayeth! Word of God #1 = the way to sanctify yourselves from things of the world like pornography, homosexuality, violence, anger & is The ONLY WAY to separate from poverty, anxiety, sickness, hate & the darkness amidst such a changed, sinful world! In the way of light through Jesus you reject death so repent & plea for forgiveness as all have sinned & fallen short of the glory of God. Now, walk in the will of God & praise the name Jesus! The word of God does the work but the decision remains yours only God won't do it for you, he's given his word, proved his power, choose the light for the Lord Jesus is worthy of ALL PRAISE! Amen!
