Captured Heart

The story was great. Towards the end however, the heroine was not as strong as was portrayed earlier; she had a chance to save herself and did not out of some misguided notions. Even worse, it required large demonstrations before she would believe the obvious, it was a very frustrating way to end the story.

wonderful start to a series! this is a book I can continue to go back to you no matter how long it's been since I read it. I could have read the whole series last week and I can come back to it this week and not miss a beat. Meg and caden are my forever favorites and my hopeful one day love story. If you haven't read any book from Heather mccollum, I highly recommend this one. I love the mix of historical romance that matches the era! I love the touch of magic that is believable and keeps you turning the pages, no matter what time it is day or night. I don't care what you're supposed to be doing at that moment, you're still going to read this book above everything else!!! just give the first chapter a read and you'll be hooked in the whole series just keeps getting better and better! The only person I've seen that gave four stars obviously didn't read the same book I did this was amazing! and I have every book she's ever written

This is probably my most favorite book. Makes u believe in magic. The story and plot is explosive. keeps u on the edge of ur seat. better have a long day cuz u won't want to put it down. Can't say enough about how much I loved it. Read almost everything she has wrote.
