Sociopath

A Psychological Thriller

by Joshy Alvarez

Bridgeport is a city built on forgotten people.

Beneath its glowing skyline lies a hidden world of abandoned tunnels, dead communication lines, and secrets buried beneath decades of corruption. When investigative journalist Lockhart begins searching for his missing friend Rodger Cole, the investigation pulls him deep into the decaying underbelly of the city — where a disturbed telecommunications engineer named Karl Underwood has spent years listening to the voices no one else cared to hear.

What begins as a missing persons case quickly spirals into a psychological nightmare as entire neighborhoods lose power, emergency systems collapse, and the city itself begins turning against its people. Hidden beneath Bridgeport is a vast underground network capable of hearing every lie, every crime, and every desperate cry for help ever ignored.

As Lockhart descends deeper into the tunnels beneath the city, he discovers that Karl is more than a killer — he is the product of a broken system that abandoned thousands and buried the truth beneath silence.

Dark, atmospheric, and emotionally haunting, Sociopath is a gripping psychological noir thriller about isolation, corruption, grief, and the terrifying consequences of a city that stopped listening.

In Bridgeport, the voices never truly disappear.
