About this ebook

Regal romance abounds in this flirty, sapphic companion novel to Prince Charming, where a heartbroken teen flees to a boarding school in Scotland. It’s the perfect escape—except for the fact that her new roommate is a total princess. No, like a real one.

“Will make you swoon.”—Entertainment Weekly

“Witty, awkward, and romantic.”—Kirkus Reviews

She’s her friend. She’s her enemy. She’s her . . . crush?

Millie Quint is devastated when she discovers that her sort-of-best-friend/sort-of-girlfriend has been kissing someone else. Heartbroken and ready for a change of pace, Millie decides to apply for scholarships to boarding schools . . . the farther from Houston the better.

Millie is thrilled when she is accepted into one of the world’s most exclusive schools, located in the rolling Highlands of Scotland.

The only problem: Millie’s roommate, Flora, is a total princess. She’s also the actual princess. Of Scotland.

At first, the girls can’t stand each other, but before Millie knows it, she has another sort-of-best-friend/sort-of-girlfriend. Princess Flora could be a new chapter in her love life, but Millie knows the chances of happily-ever-afters are slim. After all, real life isn’t a fairy tale . . . or is it?

I liked the LGBTQ+ representation and enemies-to-lovers romance story. However, there was a lack of character development. I wished that they were explored further and more fleshed out. The ending was rushed, I feel that it can go on for a bit before ending like that. The pacing is okay for a short novel that I finished reading in a day. Overall, I would recommend this book, it is an easy read and good for time passing. Plus, you get a cute story about two sapphic teenagers falling in love.

Quality romance. The first lines where the characters realize their feelings are mutual are stunning to the point I could feel them myself. The only real criticism I have is that the ending is a bit rushed. It feels like we're resolving the conflict in the last ten pages, and I think we needed a little more time or at least an epilogue. Still a beautiful YA sapphic romance.

I am not the type to read romance books, but this one was so good. They didn't have any of that naughty stuff and was actually cute. I would definetly read this again. If you have the chance I recommened reading this book for fun!
