The Eden Fury Mysteries (Book 2: Fury Godmother)

She was wrong.

Chipping Cheddar already has enough witches, vampires, demons, and magical secrets to keep Eden busy. But when people begin getting exactly what they wish for—with consequences nobody expected—Eden discovers that a wish can be far more dangerous than a curse.

A powerful wish demon is loose in town, twisting innocent desires into supernatural disasters. One moment someone is asking for a better life; the next, their greatest wish becomes a nightmare. As Eden and her wizard assistant Neville follow the strange trail, they realize the demon isn't simply granting wishes. It is exploiting the deepest desires of the people around them.

Even Eden isn't immune to temptation.

While she struggles to control her increasingly unpredictable supernatural abilities, her attraction to the handsome human police chief Sawyer Fox becomes harder to ignore. But Sawyer doesn't know what Eden really is—and Eden isn't sure she can risk letting him find out.

To stop the wish demon, Eden will have to face a dangerous question: what happens when getting exactly what you want costs more than you ever imagined?

In Chipping Cheddar, wishes really can come true.

Just be careful what you wish for.
