An interesting new take on Wonder Woman. This issue is very origin heavy with her flashbacks but it is interesting and you still get enough present day pages to give you the overall impression. Compared to Absolute Batman and Superman you don't get to know as much about Wonder Woman in this first issue, but you do get to see how there being no Island and no Amazon's have changed her from the normal version. The action scenes are great and her big sword is a cool new weapon.
