Two souls from opposite ends. A female thief, a human, a hacker, a loner, raised on a planet with no laws or care, and seriously independent. A male dragon lord, serious, detailed, spy, warrior, investigator for the King, a prince, and not a believer in fated mates. Can these two accomplish their mission? Will they survive investigating the rich and famous on a frozen mountain in the middle of nowhere?. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This story takes you deep into the world of being undercover and the rich. They have a job to do and don't always work well with new partners. The chemistry was there from the start and kept building. The descriptions were really good you could see her walking around in that blue dress then freezing on the mountain. Also the smoke and steam that came off him when he was irritated was such a good touch. He was arrogant but yet it was a turn on since it was not just being arrogant but confident.

This is another good story in the "Dragon Brides" series. It is a fairly short, quick and fast paced story with wonderful characters. This story is about Vex and Luisa; the dragon lord and his fake mistress. These two are combustible together. I love how their story develops with some suspense, action and really good twists.
