About this ebook

Samantha Kidd is trying to rebuild her life after her first brush with murder—but in Ribbon, trouble doesn’t stay buried. When a new rivalry turns deadly, this humorous cozy mystery pulls the fashion-savvy amateur sleuth back into a world of secrets, suspicion, and small-town scandal.

She needs a paycheck. The job comes with a body count.

Former fashion buyer Samantha Kidd never planned to add “amateur sleuth” to her résumé—but solving one murder doesn’t pay the bills. When a major retailer offers her a job as a handbag buyer, it sounds like the break she needs… until she learns the last buyer was murdered on the job.

Moving back to her hometown was supposed to mean a fresh start, not a return to the high-pressure world she left behind. But when another death rocks the store, Samantha realizes this isn’t bad luck—it’s an inside job. And if she doesn’t uncover the truth, she could be next.

Smart, stylish, and laugh-out-loud funny, Buyer, Beware pushes Samantha deeper into a world where fashion and danger go hand in hand—and where solving crimes may be the only career path left.

Buyer, Beware is book 2 in the Killer Fashion mystery series. Each book can be read on its own, but the stakes—and Samantha’s journey—keep building. Perfect for readers who love humor, heart, and a mystery that proves murder is never in style.

Each book can be read as a standalone, but the series is best enjoyed in order.

Somehow, Samantha got involved herself involved in another mess. You would think after the last one, she would stop but no. I have a love/hate relationship with her. Incredibly funny but so ditzy. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Designer Bags and Statuettes This is the second book in this series and it is exciting. There is plenty of action, lots of red herrings, and many confusing theories. This cozy mystery is concerned with the fashion industry and takes place in Pennsylvania. This book may be a bit better than the first book. I think that a reader will enjoy it more if they read these books in order. I can't wait to read the next book.
