This book does not deny climate change nor does it underestimate the need to protect our environment.
Its objective is to investigate how, under that seemingly unquestionable umbrella, political, educational, and cultural dynamics have emerged that could steer the world toward an unprecedented model of social control.
The intentions of the actors are not judged, but rather the historical and structural consequences of the mechanisms employed.
🌱 From Marxist equality to climate: the concept mutates, the method remains
Luisa Neubauer said it with exceptional frankness:
“Maybe it is something like a Climate Cultural Revolution.”
And maybe it does not only resemble one: it rhymes.
With Mao. With the Red Guards. With any process in which youth was turned into a moral force, a political arm, and emotional legitimization.
In the 1960s, the narrative was a struggle against bourgeois oppression.
Today it is a struggle against climate sinners.
Yesterday, parents and teachers were accused of perpetuating “the old order.”
Today, they are blamed for having polluted the planet and stolen their children’s future.
The script changes.
The structure remains.
🧒👧 Youth, emotion, and power: the most manipulable historical cocktail
“An apathetic youth,” —says the media discourse—
yet suddenly mobilized, organized, internationally synchronized, amplified by newspapers, universities, corporations, banks, European councils, Hollywood, the UN, and Big Tech.
An anti-system movement applauded by the system.
Spontaneous dissent… or social engineering?
Angela Merkel publicly supported the school strikes of Fridays for Future even when they involved skipping classes. When state authority supports a protest directed against state authority, the phenomenon no longer fits the classical definition of “rebellion.”
In political history, no revolution that threatened real power was financed by banks, promoted by governments, or protected by the press.
🌍 Greta, Neubauer, and the Gates Foundation: when rebellion has a sponsor
Greta Thunberg did not emerge from nothing. Behind her there was media strategy, private capital, and professional planning.
Luisa Neubauer —a German icon of the movement— works for the NGO ONE, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. This does not invalidate her convictions, but it demands critical analysis. No truly spontaneous movement is born with branding, press departments, and immediate worldwide coverage.
The question is not whether young people believe in what they defend.
The question is: who designs the framework in which they believe?
And above all:
For whom does the moral fervor instilled in them work?
⚠ Revolution or tool?
Two historical precedents, two concrete warnings
This book examines in detail how the political instrumentalization of youth has, at times, led to devastating outcomes:
Context | Mechanism employed | Outcome
China, Cultural Revolution (1966–1976) | Youth as the moral arm of the State | Repression, purges, civilizational regression
Cambodia under Pol Pot | Youth against tradition and the “old society” | Intellectual and cultural genocide
In both cases, the narrative was:
“The adults destroyed the future. The youth must correct it.”
Today it echoes:
“The elders ruined the climate. The youth must save it.”
❓ The question that opens this book is not whether we must care for the planet.
That is indisputable.
The real —and deeply uncomfortable— question is this:
🌿 Climate defense or generational indoctrination?
🌿 Ecology or global social engineering?
🌿 Youth activism or the emotional backbone of a new power?
🌿 A spontaneous revolution or a Green Cultural Revolution designed from above?
This book does not offer closed answers.
It offers data, historical parallels, and elements for thinking without tutelage.
